One day mother penguin told Zelin and Zelina that she was going to go find some food for them to eat. They asked their mother if they could go with her. We are old enough to go to the ocean and catch are own food. She told them no, end of convertion. She left the nest and went to look for food. Zelin and Zelina did what they were told and stayed in the nest. After a while Zelin and Zelina were boried and they couldn't find anything to do. Zelin asked Zelina if she wanted to go to go to the ocean to get their own food. Zelina sasid I don't know, mother told us to stay here. Fine I will go by myself then, you can stay here by yourself and wait for mother. Zelin left Zelina sitting in the nest thinking to herself. Zelina got to thinking if I stay here I will be safe, but if I don't go something could happed to Zelin. Zelina decided that she was going to go with here brother. Her brother knew she was going to come because she only walk two feet from the nest and her brother was sitting on the ground waiting for her. Zelin said, so you changed your mind, you are going to go with me. Yes, but only because I don't want anything to happen to you.
Zelin and Zelina started on there journey to the ocean. Zelina thought she saw something behind the tree in frount of them and told Zelin to stop. He asked, why because I thought saw something behind the tree over there. Zelin went closer to the tree, while Zelina waited for him to come back. Zelin was about 3 feet to the tree, when a baby lion jumped from behind the tree. Zelina screamed because she thought the babby lion ate her brother. But the baby lion didn't he just wanted to play with them. Zelin got up fromt eh floor and asked why he jumped on him. The baby lion said he wanted to scare who ever walked by the tree. My name is Zelina and this is my brother Zelin. What's yours? The baby lion said my name is Adam. We would like to play with you, but are going to the ocean to get some fish to eat because are mother told us we couldn't. But we want to show her we are old enough to go with her. Can I come with you aked, Adam. Yes, the people we have the better the trip. But I have to go ask my mother first because I should have been home already. We will go with you.
Zelin and Zelina followed Adam tp his home. When they got there they meet Adam's family. Zelina said, you have a lot of girls in your family. yes, i know said, Adam. They help my mother raise me and my other brothers and sisters. Where is your mother asked, Zelina? There she is sleeping on the tree over there said, Adam. Adam went to his mother and asked if he could go with his friends to the ocean to go find there mother. Adam and his mother came over to where Zelin and Zelina were. She asked, them why they were looking for there mother and not at there home. Zelina told her that she went to go look for food for them at the ocean and she told them to stay home. But Zelin wanted to go to anyway and I didn't want to stay home by myself. Adam's mother said, you should have listened to your mother. I will go with you to look for mother because I don't want anything bad to happen to you. Adam asked, if two of his brothers and sisters could go with them. Adam's mother said yes, as long as they don't get in the way. Adam asked Zelin and Zelina if they wanted to go with him to go ask his brothers and sisters if they want to go to the ocean to go find your mother.
Adam took Zelin and Zelina with him to go ask his brothers and sisters if they wanted to go with him ti the ocean. Adam went to a tree and called his brother and sisters out. They all came out from the behind the tree, where they were playing a game. Adam's brother and sisters asked what do you want? Adam said, I was going to ask if one of you wanted to go the ocean with me to take my new friends to there mother. Adam's sister Amy said that she would go with them, because it sounded like a fun. Adam went to tell his mom that Amy wanted to go with them, she said that was ok. But before we leave you have to go tell your father that you are going with me and you can't go wit him hunting later. Adam ran of to tell his father that he was going to the ocean to help his friends find there mother. Adam came running back and told his mother that he said it was ok.
Adam, his mother, his sister Amy, Zelin, and Zelina went on there way to go to the ocean to find there mother. On the way the way Adam's mother asked the Zelina queastions about their mother. Zelina told her that all penguins look the same. But are mother has two scares on her from a fight she had with a bird. Where are the scares Adam's mother asked, Zelina. One is on her face by her eye and the other is on her back. We are looking for a penguin with a scare by her eye and a scare on her back. Do you how far he have to go until we get to the ocean asked, Adam. No, we have never been to the ocean before. Adam asked, his mother if she knew. She told him she thinks they have about 5 more miles until they get there. She told them that it is getting dark and they need to get some sleep because they shouldn't be out at night. They found a tree and they all slept near Adam's mother. Zelin and Zelina felt better knowing that they were not sleeping alone.
In the morning everbody left to go to the ocean. On the way Adam's mom asked if the were hungry? Zelina and Zelina were the first to say something because they haddened eating since the other day. Adam's momasked them what they ate and they told her fish. She said that is going to be a problem because they only eat meat. Zelin said he can wait until they get to the ocean. Zelina said the same thing because she doesn't eat a lot in the first place. Adam's mother asked Amy and Adam if they were hungry and they said yes. She told them to stay by rock, while she went to look for some food. While Adam's mother lokked for food, Adam, Amy, Zelin and Zelina decided they were going to play I spy. Amy said, " I will go first," I spy with my little eyes something........ big and gray. Zelina said, " is it that hippo over there by the tree." No said, Amy, that was a good guess. Adam said, " is it that tree over there. No, silly a tree is not gray, it is brown and green said, Amy. Zelin said, " is it that rock over there by that big tree. Yes, said, Amy, know it is your turn Zelin. I spy with my little eyes something........ meduim and golden. Amy said, " is it the grass over there by the rock. No, Zelin said, good try though. Adam said, " is it my mom coming over here with are dinner. Yes, Zelin said, you and your sister are very good at this game.
When Adam's mother came with the food, Zelin and Zelina felt sick because they have never seen so much blood in there life. Zelin and Zelina asked if they could go sit over there by the tree while they ate. Adam's mother said, they could go as long as they stay where she could see them. While they ate Zelin and Zelina wondered if they were close to the ocean, so they could find there mother. Zelina asked Zelin, when they get there where they be able to find there mother or did she leave already to come back home. I don't know said, Zelin. Just hope that nothing happened to mother while she was there. Adam's mother called Zelin and Zelina becuase they were ready to go.
They walked for about 9 miles, when Amy, Adam, Zelina and Zelina were tiried of walking. Adam's mother told them they have to get up becuase they are almost there. But we are tiried they all said. I know but I can smell the ocean, we are almost there. They all got up and walked in a very slow motion to the ocean. Finally they we made it said, Zelin. When you get your strenght back, we will start looking for your mother said, Adam's mother. Ok, they all said. Zelina asked if they remember what there mother look liked. Yes, Adam, Amy and Adam's mother said. She has a scare by her eye and on her back from a bird attack said, Amy. Yes, that is right said, Zelin. Adam's mom said, I am going to start looking, we will all meet back here at night.
Zelin and Zelina started looking for there mother first while Amy and Adam were still resting. Zelina asked, are we going to be able to find are mother? Yes, I think we can and we have some help said, Zelin. Zelin and Zelina started asking animals on the beach if they saw their mother, but they told them no. So Zelin and Zelina kept looking. Then Zelina saw a group of penguins hanging out by a rock. Zelina said, look Zelin there are penguins over there. Zelin said, lets go look over there, she might be over there with the other penguins. Zelin and Zelina walked over to the other penguins and asked if they saw a penguin with a scar on her face and back. Every penguin told them that they didn't see a penguin with a scar on its back or face. Very disappionted they walk to walk over ro a rock and started to cry.
Little did they know adam's mother found their mother by a rock counting the fish she caught. Adam's mother told there mother how her son found them and took them to her and she asked them what they were doing. I decided to come with them to make sure they were safe and nothing happeded to them. My two are looking you for and your two are looking for you right now. I told them to go back to the spot on the beach were they were resting. We should get going said, Zelina's mom. They started for the other side of the beach because that is where they were.
Adam and Amy started going back to the spot at the end of beach too becuase it was getting dark and they couldn't find Zelin and Zelina's mother. Amy said, will we tried, they won't be mad at us becuase we tried are best. Ya said, Zelin, but I feel like I have let them down because we didn't find her. I know how you feel said, Zelina. Well let's just worry about getting back before we make mamma worry.
Zelin and Zelina decided to go back to the meeting place after they finished crying. Zelin and Zelina took there time getting back. The sun was down now and it was dark outside. But the two little penguins didn't care, they were too disappointed that they couldn't find their mother.
Adam and Amy made it back to the other's just when it was getting dark. Adam's mother asked, them if they had seen Zelin and Zelina because they were not back yet. No, they both said. We were running trying to make sure we made it back in time and to see if anybody had found their mother. Well you two come with me and their mother so we can find them. Adam, Amy, Adam's mother and Zelin's mother went looking for Zelin and Zelina. little didi they know they were walking on the same path they were. Zelin's mother was calling out their names and so was everbody else. Zelina thought she heard her mother calling her. Zelina said, Zelin do you hear that? What said, Zelin. Listen I think I hear mother calling us. Zelin stop and listened carefully. I hear it too he said. Let's run and see if it is her, so they started to run as fast as their legs could carry them. They started calling out to their mother, who heard them and started to run to them. When they meet she gave them both a big hug and kissed them. She told them to never do that again, but she was glad that they were safe. They told Adam, Amy and adam's mother that they were happy that they could help and if they ever need anything to come find them. Adam's mother said, no problem we were happy to help. Zelin's mother said we will walk back with you because are house is in the same direaction as yours. They all started for home.
